Jake Scarbrough is a musician, producer and DJ who writes and records music for film, TV, web, games and other media out of his studio in Austin, TX.

Jake has been a staff composer for Studio 51 Music since 2008. Through Studio 51 he provides background music for Harpo Productions. His music was used over 100 times in shows televised on NBC in 2010. Jake's music is also distributed to production houses worldwide via Pacifica Music.

Jake has produced music for several documentaries including the short doc "Mixed Message" which won a national short film contest in 2009, the Soup Peddler, Surveillance and You, and the ICEHOTEL.

As a sound designer he has created orginal sound fx for iPhone/iPad games for The Retired Astronauts Collective and Dogster.com, and the The Snack Attack podcast series.

Jake also writes, records and performs DJ sets under the artist name Lush Logic. He released his first full-length CD in 2007, and a follow up single and remix in 2008. Since then he has focused on writing for TV and film, but he still plays regular DJ sets in bars and clubs around Austin spinning everything from funk to lounge, and downtempo to electro house.

Jake is a member of the Austin Film Society, Austin Music Foundation, NARAS, BMI, and the Cosmonopoly DJ Collective.
